Irony…  I believe it to be God’s sense of humor!  Or at least a part thereof.  Through Irony, Life is learned… or can be.  It is ironic, that despite the fact, that 6,000,000,000+ People upon this Earth all yearn for the same thing, Love, our World is (or so seems to be, looking at our actions, not our words) in such short supply of it.  How is that even possible?

It is ironic, that the two topics which rule my very existence, cause me to be, and are the driving force behind 99% of my actions, Love and Life, are the two very things that now -and for some time- have caused me to struggle the most, let alone obtain “happiness” in and/or from.  How is it, that as I sit here writing/typing about it, that I can have such a clear understanding of such “things”, yet in application, have yet to achieve the success that is so commonly sought?

It is ironic, that so many with pure intentions and heart, gentleness, and are filled with Love and a desire to share that Love, are left “on the sidelines”, while those who are more self-centered, abusive, and without a general concern for others, are the ones who get what they want!

It is ironic that Cruelty and Thievery are more profitable in today’s world, than Honesty and Charity!

It is ironic, that those that have the most, give the least, and those that have the least are at least willing to give the most!

It is ironic, that one of the oldest and most edifying statements of all time, “If you don’t learn from the past, you are doomed to repeat it!” is one of the least appreciated, least influential statements of our time!

It is ironic, that save for the masochistic few, there is not one of us who would wish for ourselves, the pain and suffering we so willingly and wantonly inflict upon others!
